How to Care for Your New Favorite Shirt
Wash
- Machine wash cold with like colors
- Turn inside out before washing to help protect the print
- Use a mild detergent
- Avoid bleach and harsh detergents
- Wash with similar colors, especially for the first few washes
Dry
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
- Avoid high heat, which can contribute to shrinking and fading
- Remove promptly when dry
A few extras
- Skip fabric softener
- If ironing is needed, turn the shirt inside out and avoid ironing directly over the print
- Because Comfort Colors garments are garment-dyed, some natural variation in color and a small amount of color transfer during the first few washes is normal
